“Samak talent” national cooking competition of sea products
The second phase “Samak Talent”, the national cooking contest for sea products, was held on Thursday, April 5th. This session, dedicated to pelagic fish, brought together 22 candidates from the tourist and hotel training institutes of the Ministry of Tourism, Air Transport, Craft and Solidarity Economy.
The first day of competition was characterized by the participation of 11 contestants who were confronted in the preparation of dishes based on sardines and saw the creation of 11 new recipes. Diversification in the gastronomic proposal is one of the strategic objectives of the “Samak Talent” competition.
The first day of the competition was marked by the important presence of officials from the Ministry of Tourism representing the central administration and the tourism delegation of the Ouarzazate region (Morocco) and its training institutions in the various cities of the Kingdom, as well as representatives of the professional chambers of the fishing industry.
