A new quay in Jdaria

On 6 April 2018, the fishing quay created by the NEMO II project was inaugurated by the Tunisian Minister for Agriculture of Hydraulic Resources and Fisheries, Samir El Taieb.

The quay was built in Jdaria, on the border with Libya for the benefit of small fishermen in the region and the clam purification center in El Grin, in the Medenine Governorate. This action is part of the NEMO II project, implemented by CIHEAM Bari, with the financial support of the Italian Development Cooperation.

The minister and the governor have handed over the keys to the El Grin purification center to the clam harvesters of the Agricultural Development and Fisheries Group.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
