A new fishing port in Jdaria

The construction of the new fishing port in Jdaria, in the Médenine Governorate, has been completed.

The project was funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented by CIHEAM Bari, in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture. This project is part of the NEMO 2 Program, which aims to promote sustainable development of coastal communities in the Médenine Governorate.

Specifically, the new fishing port has improved the working conditions of over 100 fishermen in the area.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
