Open day of biology at MARE OUTPOST

“Open days” for children were held every Sunday at the marine biology laboratory of “MARE Outpost”. The aim was to raise awareness of the marine and coastal biodiversity of Tricase and the Mediterranean Sea.

The events have had a large participation of children and adults. All of them were enthusiastic of the lab’s aquariums and its microscopes.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
