Linea Blu back in the Port Museum of Tricase
Linea Blu, the historical television Program of RAI 1 on dissemination and spreading of environmental and sea culture, came back to the Port of Tricase to narrate about MARE Outpost and its commitment in international cooperation for the growth of Mediterranean coastal territories. The report spoke also about “Webport“, the Mediterranean digital port financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and implemented by CIHEAM Bari as part of the NEMO Program.
It connects the fishing communities of seven Mediterranean countries and has its Coordination Unit in the Port Museum of Tricase. It also talked about the biodiversity monitoring activities carried out at the same outpost within the MARE Biodiversity program.
He asked to recount the fascinating world of the “Piscare”, the ancient drift nets always known and used by fishermen and now registered by the Magna Grecia Mare Association, to transmit an immense cultural heritage.
