The community Map of the Port Museum of Tricase

The “community map” of the Port Museum of Tricase is a large drawing that represents the places, the landscape, the activities, the lifestyle of today and yesterday. It was created by the illustrator Chiara Rescio since 2013 with the contribution of the entire community, which has suggested and indicated the activities, historical and current places, the men and every other element that has attributed and gives value to the port.

The community map has been included in the Annual 2017 catalogue (the most influential publication of illustrated pictures in Italy and in Europe) and awarded in the Annual Awards 2017, in the “didactic, scholastic and scientific” category, during Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2017.

In 2017 the community map of the Port Museum of Tricase has been transformed into a living design with the 2D animation, created by the audiovisual artist Pasquale D’Amico, also known as Mr. Klesha.
