Sailing in Matrouh

The fishermen of Marsa Matrouh return to move driven by the wind.

The traditional latin sails, which, for centuries, have accompanied in their daily activities the fishermen of Marsa Matrouh, as well as those of the entire Mediterranean area, are now used for fishing but also for recreational purposes.

Sailing boats are used for small transport and to accompany tourists on excursions along the coast.

Tourists can therefore enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the pleasure of wind and fresh air.

Sailing boats, which do not require diesel, also offer the advantage of having lower prices compared to motorboat excursions.
