4 Fishing manuals have been published and distributed to the Matrouh fishermen

Within the framework of the NEMO Egypt Project, financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented by CIHEAM Bari, 4 manuals were published and distributed to the members of the Fishermen Cooperative of Marsa Matrouh. The manuals are the result of a training course realized during the visit of Italian experts in February.

The handbooks cover the issues of: small-scale fishing and its sustainability; management of boats; the hygiene regulations and good practices for the freshness and quality of fish products; the Matrouh artisanal fishing supply chain and the “Product of Matrouh fishermen” brand.
