VII ° International Fishing and aquaculture exhibition

The 7th edition of the International Exhibition of Fisheries and Aquaculture – SIPA 2017 (9th-12th November 2017) was held at the Congress Center in Oran. It was organized by the General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture, under the High Patronage of the President of Republic.

Since its first edition in 2003, the International Exhibition has been an important driving force in the development of fishing and aquaculture, underlining the strategic importance of the sector, the economic importance of productive investments and the benefit of inter-professional exchanges.

The objectives set by SIPA 2017: developing large-scale aquaculture; promoting mechanisms for the optimal exploitation of marine resources; ensuring sustainability; supporting productive investments in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors; encouraging cooperation and partnership operations to develop and diversify the activities and finally consolidating participatory management with the various stakeholders.
