A new meeting between the Mediterranean coastal communities took place on Wednesday, 8 November 2017, on the virtual platforms of WEBPORT.

The fishing communities of Tricase (Italy), (Algiers) Algeria, Marsa Matrouh (Egypt), Tripoli (Lebanon) were present and discussed on “Port facilities to support small-scale fishing”.

The virtual port WEBPORT is designed by the NEMO program, supported by the Directorate General for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and is activated by CIHEAM Bari.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
