Tamentfoust

Tamentfoust fishing port

Tamentfoust (in Arabic: تمنتفوست), also known as La Pérouse, was an ancient Roman–Berber city in the Dar El Beïda district of Algiers, in Algeria. His port, as old as the city, represents the great pride of the whole community.
It is a port mainly dedicated to small-scale artisanal fishing.
Fishermen use nets, longlines and lines for catching fish species, which is sold in the port by the fishermen themselves.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
