“Trawling” fishermen in Vlora region. Their daily work is carried out in very hard conditions for lack of suitable equipment.
Trawling is a particular type of fishing that consists in pulling a large fishing net at the bottom of the sea. The fishing net, driven by one or two boats, usually has a conical shape with the terminal part that can be opened to take the fish.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.
