Sustainability of fishing in Tyre

The project “Sustainable fisheries management to improve the livelihoods of the coastal fishing community of Tyre, in southern Lebanon“, implemented by IUCN (Center for Mediterranean Cooperation) and ADR (Association for Rural Capacity Development) was presented on 24th of February 2017 and funded by the DROSOS Foundation.

The project aims to improve the security and empowerment of livelihoods as well as the sustainable management of marine ecosystems.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
