WEBINAR | Online seminar on hygiene regulations and cold chain

Thanks to Webport, the virtual port created by the NEMO program, the Mediterranean fishing communities continue to dialogue with each other.

Tunisia, Albania (Himara), Algeria (Algiers), Egypt (Marsa Matrouh), Italy (Tricase), Lebanon (Tripoli), Morocco (Nador) met on Wednesday 6 December to talk about “Hygienic regulations and the cold chain in the supply chain of fish products “.

Led by the Italian expert Carlo Martella, the entire fishing trip was revisited, from the preparation of the equipment to the sale of the fish to discover, for each phase, the exact procedure for proper handling, processing and sale to the final consumer.

Webinars are part of the activities of the digital port Webport, created by the NEMO program, which is financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and is activated by CIHEAM Bari.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
