WEBINAR | Online seminar about fishing tuna and swordfish

Also this week, the Mediterranean coastal communities, met on the virtual docks of Webport, to exchange and exchange knowledge on the techniques of fishing for tuna and swordfish in the Mediterranean.

In addition to the community of Tricase, the fishermen from Zarzis (Tunisia), Marsa Matrouh (Egypt), Nador (Morocco) and Himara (Albania) joined together in the virtual port created by the NEMO program.

NEMO is supported by the Directorate General for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and is activated by CIHEAM Bari, to promote the sustainable development of Mediterranean coastal communities.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
