In Tricase, a course for the sustainable management of fish stocks

It was held from 17 to 28 March 2018, at the MARE Outpost, peripheral headquarter  of CIHEAM Bari, in the Port Museum of Tricase, the training course entitled “Stock assessment methodology and habitat mapping tools”.

The course was organized by CIHEAM Bari, together with the CNR and the Coast Guard – Bari Maritime Directorate with the aim of providing the necessary skills for the evaluation, monitoring and conservation of fish stocks, for sustainable resource management.

The program is part of the MARE project – Institutional Assistance for the Development of the Albanian Maritime Economy, funded by AICS Tirana and implemented in partnership with the Albanian Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the Albanian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the CNR in Italy.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
