Professional training for the fishermen of Nemo Project Egypt

From the 15th to the 22th of May, in MARE Outpost, in the Port Museum of Tricase, a professional training cours was held within the Nemo Egypt Program. The target was an Egyptian delegation of fishermen from the Marsa Matrouh Governorate.

The course is part of the activities done by the cooperation project “Development of rural coastal communities in Egypt”, implemented by CIHEAM Bari and financed by MAECI / AICS – Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.

In addition to the training session, the course provided for meetings with local fishermen communities to promote the exchange of knowledge and the sharing of experiences.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
