Egyptian Veterinarians In The Port Of Tricase, With The Made 2 Project
The MADE 2 Program (MARINE AQUACULTURE DEVELOPMENT IN EGYPT – Phase 2) is funded by the Italian Egyptian Debt for Development Swap Program / Phase 3, and is managed by Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform / General Authority for the Development of Fish Resources (GARDF) and implemented by Ciheam – Bari. Whitin this program, from the 23rd to 27th of July 2017, MARE Outpost in the Port Museum of Tricase, hosted a delegation of veterinarians and Egyptian technicians. They desired to increase and share knowledge about fish diseases with their Italian colleagues, to support prevention and control of fish diseases in their fish breedings.
The MADE 2 Program aims to further consolidate, in Egypt, the marine aquaculture sector, through a sustainable and responsible approach. It also wants to provide assistance to Egyptian private actors by transferring know-how and technical and technological knowledge.
