New equipment for fishermen

The artisanal fishermen of Marsa Matrouh community,  have new equipment for carrying out their activity. The NEMO Egypt project has in fact provided fishermen with nets, hooks and various equipment to support their activities and encourage the increase of income in the community.

The value of the equipment supplied is almost 1,060,000 EGP.

The NEMO Egypt project, whose closing conference was held last July, carried out numerous activities in three years, to support the community of Marsa Matrouh.

NEMO Egypt is a project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented by CIHEAM Bari in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry for Agriculture and Land Reclamation.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
