National meeting on agriculture

On April 23th 2018, the national meeting on agriculture was held with the aim of directing the strategies to be implemented for sustainable agricultural development and opening a space for reflection around the sector, its realities and perspectives.

The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Abdelkader Bouazghi said that since 2000 the agricultural sector has seen very positive changes, marked by important successes.

Over 3000 billion dinars have been mobilized since 2000 for the implementation of the national agricultural development program for farmers and producers and to ensure the availability of water resources necessary for the development of the sector. The minister also stressed that the agricultural sector covers 70% of national needs. Furthermore, the agricultural sector, through the various development programs, has led to the creation of one million jobs.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
