Blue Ports 2018 – 6th Edition

The sixth edition of the operation “Blue Ports: Acting together for diversified fisheries and sustainable aquaculture” was held on 5th May in the fishing ports of Algiers and El Djamila.

This edition, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries aims to develop “responsible” fisheries and “sustainable” aquaculture and to promote and integrate ports and fishing activities in local socio-economic development.

The Blue Ports campaign also aims to promote and implement structural measures to combat the various forms of pollution in ports and in fishing areas.
