Launch of the BLUE LAND project
On May 7, 2018, the BLUE LAND project was launched in Tirana. The project is funded by the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro Program.The program aims to create a cross-border model for the management and protection of the marine environment and coastal resources of the territories involved.
The partnership of BLUE LAND Project is composed by CIHEAM BARI, National Agency for Protected Areas – NAPA (Albania), Institute for Nature Conservation – INCA (Albania), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro, University of Montenegro – Department of Biology and Cooperative Research Institute – ICR. Furthermore, it has the support of the Italian Development Cooperation Agency – Tirana Headquarters, and of the Puglia Region – Agriculture, Rural Development and Environmental Department.
