New Ice Box for Marsa Matrouh fishermen

On 25th April 2018, the 100 new ice boxes that will be distributed to the fishermen of Marsa Matrouh arrived. This activity is the result of the process initiated by the NEMO Egypt project to encourage the strengthening of small-scale fisheries in the area. The sensitization to the cold chain and more generally the dissemination of good fish management practices are among the activities implemented in the area, by the NEMO project.

The NEMO project is activated by CIHEAM Bari and financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation with the aim of encouraging the development of coastal communities in the Matrouh Governorate.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
