Maintenance of fishing tools

Maintenance of equipment is one of the basic operations that every fisherman must perform. At the end of the fishing trip, the fisherman controls the hooks of the long-lines to replace the damaged one due to rough seabeds and he prepares all the equipment for the next fishing trip. But it is not just the seabed that constitutes a danger for the equipment.

Very often the fishermen have to fight with the presence of dolphins, defined in Tyre “the sea devils”, who tear the ropes and nets with their sharp teeth.
