Tricase | Blue Land Day 2018

Saturday 28 July 2018, in the port of Tricase, hundreds of attentive and interested people took part in the Blue Land Day, the event dedicated to the environment, organized by CIHEAM Bari in collaboration with the City of Tricase and the Magna Grecia Mare Association, with the aim of stimulating a greater awareness of the need (now or never!) to protect the environment and encourage a more eco-sustainable lifestyle.

With the speech entitled “Saving the Blue Planet: Solid Solutions to a Liquid Threat“, Grammenos Mastrojeni, Italian diplomat and coordinator for the eco-sustainability of the Italian Development Cooperation, has shown how, once again, the route taken by Tricase is the right one: “We have always felt the environment as a limit to our opportunities for income and wealth, but the experience of the Port of Tricase Museum has shown with facts that the opposite is also true.
