The Nemo Egypt project ends
The final event of the NEMO project in Egypt was held on 25 July 2018, to illustrate the main activities carried out and the results obtained during the implementation of the project, to the partner institutions, to local decision-makers and to the main stakeholders in Matrouh.
The NEMO-Egypt project is the result of a bilateral agreement between the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the CIHEAM Bari with the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation. It is implemented by the same CIHEAM Bari in collaboration with the Desert Research Center (DRC), the Agricultural Research Center (ARC) and the General Authority for the Development of Fish Resources (GAFRD).
The project aimed to promote socio-economic development of coastal and rural communities in Egypt, particularly in the Matrouh Governorate, increasing the awareness and skills of the communities themselves.
