The International Desert Exhibition

The Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Ezzeddine Abu Setit, inaugurated the 31st edition of the International Desert Exhibition, which took place from September 16th to 19th 2018, at the International Exhibition Center in Cairo.

The International Desert Exhibition represents a great opportunity for agricultural producers to learn about the latest technologies in modern agriculture, especially regarding desert reclamation, to connect with potential new partners, launch new products, conquer new markets and increase incoming.

During the Exhibition, seminars and workshops were organized on the techniques of modern agriculture, the use of solar energy in agriculture, the recycling of agricultural waste and the future of fishing in Egypt and Africa.

The Matrouh Association for Desert Agricultural Development – MADAD, established thanks to the Nemo-Egypt Project, took part in this important exhibition.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
