Sidawi (Al Nour) auction
The Sidawi auction is the second auction in Northern Lebanon. It was founded in 1958, into a construction of about 400 years old, characterized by stone arches. It is located in Mina-Tripoli, 100 meters from the fishing port.
This auction receives 20% of the fishermen from Mina-Tripoli, in addition to a number of fishermen from the rest of the North and from Akkar. The auction percentage is 8%. Customers are private consumers, restaurants and fishmongers in Tripoli and surroundings. It is sold only local fish, fresh fish and few imported fish, especially sea bass and sea bream. It is open all day, throughout the year.
