An educational webinar on Webpport

Once again, it was the “future generations” of the Mediterranean who animated the virtual docks of the digital port Webport.

On Wednesday, April 17, an educational seminar was held, dedicated to children of primary school from Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia.

They met to share their experiences related to “eating fish”, to increase their awareness that “eating fish is good” and that “local fish is better”, as well as to reflect on the need for its increasingly intelligent and responsible consumption.

The meeting was organized by the community of Zarzis (Tunisia) and coordinated by CIHEAM Bari through its peripheral headquarters MARE Outpost, in the Port Museum of Tricase.

Webport is the digital port that brings together the coastal communities of the Mediterranean in dialogue, sharing and exchange of experiences and knowledge.

Webport is designed and implemented by CIHEAM Bari in the framework of the NEMO programme, financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the General Directorate for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
