Training in Marsa Matrouh on “Cold chain and hygiene”

On 23rd and 24th May 2018 a new training course was held in Marsa Matrouh for the benefit of the local fishing community, after the delivery of the ice boxes provided by the NEMO project.

The course, “Chain of cold and hygiene” was held by the Italian expert Carlo Martella with the aim of providing all the indications for the correct management of the catch, before, during and after the fishing trip.

The training is part of the activities implemented by the NEMO project, for the development and enhancement of coastal territories, activated by CIHEAM Bari and financed by the Italian Development Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
