The ice machine for the Matrouh fishermen cooperative

The 3rd of October 2017, an ice machine was installed by technicians of the Egyptian Engineering Company, at the Matrouh Fishermen Association. The plant, capable of producing flake ice, with a daily output of 1850 kg, is available to the fishermen of the Cooperative.

The technicians trained the fishermen on how the system works and the operating modalities.

The project, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented by CIHEAM Bari, is part of the actions carried out by the NEMO Project, for the development of coastal communities in the Matrouh Governorate.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
