In Algiers, at school of respect for the environment

In the schools of Algiers it is taught to respect the environment.

The awareness raising initiative was organized as part of the activities implemented by the Antenne Administrative de Pêche du Port d’Alger.

The meetings began in January 2019, in the Wilaya of Algiers and are held every week in a different school in the city of Algiers.

The appointments aim to promote among the new generations, a greater awareness on the importance of protecting the environment and on the risks and effects of pollution on ecosystems and stimulate their responsible attitudes.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
