The Vlora River Road

A 90 km long road linking the city of Vlore to the southern coastal village of Qeparo, offering a new infrastructural connection with the Ionian line and favoring the economic development of southern Albania.

This is the objective of the “Vlora River Road” project launched by the Albanian Government through the Development Fund (Albanian Development Fund – ADF), in 2017, with the contribution of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.

The first lot of the infrastructure was completed in the autumn of 2018 and the construction of the second lot was started these days.

The public infrastructure will allow better management of tourist flows in the area and will ensure the improvement of the living conditions of the inhabitants of the villages in the southern part of Albania.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
