Albania against waste and pollution

During the Week of the Earth, from April 16 to 22, the Albanian government asked local institutions, civil society and all volunteers to take part in actions against pollution and waste along the Albanian coast. While the summer season is approaching, the Albanians are preparing to welcome the thousands of tourists who want to visit Albania.

Following the call of the Albanian government: “Albania must not coexist more with waste Our seas, rivers and lands are sources of life Our treasures require our care today, not tomorrow because it may be too late. Clean the coast, the river and the land near where you live! Join us in the week of the Earth”.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
