Motors delivery ceremony and opening of the ice machine

On February 13, 2018, NEMO Egypt project has organized a ceremony for delivering of 20 outboard motors, provided by the project, to support the Cooperative Association for Fishermen of Matrouh.

The ceremony was attended by Ahmed Helmy Abdel Gawad, Head of Central Administration for Western Region Affairs, Mr. Mario Michelini – the International Coordinator of the project, Ashraf Elsadek – the National Coordinator of the project, Mr. Paolo Fiume – CIHEAM – Bari, and. Reda Mohamed Omar Said, Director of the General Authority for Fish Resources Development in Matrouh, in addition to the member of the Fishermen Association and NEMO project team.

In addition to the delivery of the motors, the ceremony saw the inauguration of the ice machine supplied to the Fishermen’s Association. Both activities were carried out as part of the NEMO Project Egypt, supported by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented by CIHEAM Bari.
