Workshop on the sponge production chain

A workshop on the sponge chain was organized within the NEMO project, at the Zarzis Fishing Training Center, in collaboration with the Regional Office for Agricultural Development based in Médenine and the Provincial Departments of Fisheries APIP, GIPP, AVFA.

The debate was opened by the engineer Sami Aldboni and was focused on the sponge industry and its perspectives. The workshop wanted to provide recommendations, regulate the sector and create new opportunities for divers and exporters.
