Increasing tourism in Egypt

An increase in tourist influx was recorded in Matrouh and Siwa during spring holiday.
Major General Alaa Abu Zeid, Governor of Matrouh, said that the rate of employment in hotels and tourist villages of the Governorate reached 70%, thanks to the tourist influx from Egypt.

The Siwa Oasis, however, has received numerous groups of foreign tourists, coming from different countries, such as Canada, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia, coinciding with the Sham Al Naseem festival.
