Training course for tunisian delegation in Italy

A delegation of representatives of women’s groups from Jdaria, Ajim and El Grine, in the Governorate of Médenine participated in the training course “Preparation of preserved fish products” held in Italy, at the MARE Outpost, in the Port of Tricase, from 25 February to 3 March 2018.

The training is part of the activities aimed at improving the knowledge and quality of the processes of transformation of fish products, organized within the framework of the partnership between the CIHEAM – Bari and the FAO – Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

The activities were also supported by NEMO Project, CIHEAM Bari and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the General Directorate for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the GEMAISA Project, again of CIHEAM Bari, with the aim of encouraging development of coastal communities and strengthen the role of women in the local economy.
