Sailing in Algiers Bay

Algerian Sailing Federation organized the “First Crossing” in Algiers Bay with a two-day program dedicated to the promotion of sailing.

In the first day, dedicated to young people and families, the port of El Djemila (previously called the Madrague) was opened to the public. Visitors were allowed to discover the secrets of sailing.

On the second day of the event the “Traversée” regatta was held, a crossing of the Algiers bay from one end to the other.

WEBPORT is the digital port of the Mediterranean. It is designed and edited by CIHEAM Bari. It started in 2014 with the support of the Italian Agency for Cooperation to Development.

The pages of Albania and Montenegro were created and implemented as part of the CO.CO.TOUR project funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy - Albania - Montenegro program.
