The reconstruction of the Albanian villages begins
As envisaged in the context of the integrated sustainable development program, implemented for the urban redevelopment of the southern part of Albania, the plan of interventions for the reconstruction of the tourist villages of the Albanian southern coast has kicked off in recent days, in Himara.
The first buildings affected by these interventions will be the historic churches of the area.
Reconstruction interventions are regulated by definitive guidelines that aim to preserve the traditional architectural heritage that makes the Albanian villages an important tourist resource. The interventions aim at the restoration of the buildings with particular attention to the conservation of the architectural and historical building elements of each structure.
Even the streets of the villages of the area of Himara will be the subject of recovery interventions planned to restore the historic and characteristic paving with pebbles.
